In general, there is no need to delay funeral services due to COVID-19.
However, some changes to traditional practices are likely needed.

Here are some of the measures we’re taking to ensure the well-being of all who walk through our doors:

  • We routinely perform environmental cleaning/sanitizing throughout our facilities, with special attention to frequently touched surfaces.
  • We provide hand sanitizers, disposable sanitizing wipes, disposable tissues, and a greater number of trash receptacles through-out our buildings.
  • We are practicing COVID-19 protocols within our staff including new social-distancing guidelines and daily health monitoring.
  • We offer virtual arrangements in addition to in-person arrangements.
  • We have live streaming services available for request.

We are also asking families/guests/visitors to take preventative measures:

  • We are asking the public to practice social distancing guidelines outlined by the Minnesota Department of Health while in our building.
  • In accordance with the Minnesota state mandate, we do require the use of masks/facial coverings while in our building.
  • Wash your hands frequently and use the provided hand sanitizer.
  • Stay home if you feel unwell or have any COVID-19 symptoms.

What Our Families Are Saying

My family lost of father before we got a chance to make the necessary arrangements. We had an appointment with them the day daddy transitioned. We call them and they were on it from start to finish. They pick dad up from the nursing home and let the family be involved the whole step of the way. I personally got the chance to assist with wrapping him in the sheet. They had the family gathering around him, put hands on him and we prayed before they put him in the van. That was so special. Everyone we spoke with via phone or in person was like speaking with family. They made sure we understood everything and made planning so easy. So thank you all so much!!! A special thank you to Mikaela Wegscheid from Andrew Brown’s family.
