Born November 25, 1927 in St. Paul, MN. Passed away peacefully on January 23, 2009 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond, WI. She married Wallace Belisle on December 1, 1945 and lived most of her life on the farm in Somerset, WI where they raised 15 children. She was a member of St. Anne?s Church and was active in the Mother?s Club (Ladies of St. Anne), sang in the choir, served on the funeral committee and as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She loved bowling and was on a league for many years. She served 23 years on the Somerset School Board of Education and CESA. She retired after working 20+ years at the Somerset Dairy Queen. She had recently been living at the St. Croix County Health Center. She loved spending time with her family and is survived by nine daughters and six sons: Karen (Gary) Breault, Nancy (Don) DeRosier, Roger (Susan), Richard (Kathryn), Jerome (Naomi), Renee (Wayne) Rivard, Marge (Dr Colin Drury) Belisle, Janet Foster, Colleen (Keith Mogren) Belisle, Thomas (Kim), Mary (Tim) Johnson, Kathy (Greg Page) Belisle, Mark (fiancAC. Roxi Carufel), Jennifer (David) Thoreson, Christopher (Michelle); 39 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, James (Peg) Voigt, brothers-in-law, Glenn (Muriel) Belisle, Sherman (Donna) Belisle and Robert Wick; sisters-in-law Rita Voigt, Virginia (Lowell) Rivard and Audrey Belisle as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace, sister Marjorie Wick, brother Robert Voigt, brother-in-law Wilbur Belisle and sister and brother-in-law Robert & Alice Swearingen. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 31st at 11AM at ST. ANNE?S CHURCH, Somerset, WI. Visitation Friday, January 30th at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5) and one hour prior to Mass at the church. Memorials preferred to St. Anne?s Church, St. Anne?s Catholic School or the Somerset Memorial Scholarship Fund.
