Chad Groschen

A Mass of Christian Burial for Chad Groschen, age 40, of Lindstrom, will be Monday, August 8, 2011, 11:00 A.M. at CHURCH OF ST. MARY, 423 South 5th Street, Stillwater. Visitation Sunday, August 7, 2011, 3:00-7:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater and also one hour prior to the Mass at church.





Born December 17, 1970 passed away surrounded by his family on August 3rd, 2011 after a courageous battle with Esophageal Cancer. Survived by wife Nicole and children W. Alec (13) and Nate (11); parents Ralph and Sandy Groschen, Stillwater; sisters Michelle, Alicia (Mark) Schwartz, brothers Luke and Matthew, parents-in-law Jim and Donna Lunde and Ray Williamson; sisters-in-law Cyndi Doolittle, Nicole Alden(Sean), Missy Johnson (Steve), Jeanette Rohloff (Todd), Dena Bonkoski (Dave Johnson), brothers-in-law William Williamson(Ashley) and Terry Doolittle; 11 nieces and nephews and many more family and friends.





Chad was born in Stillwater, graduated from Stillwater Area Schools, attended Century College for a Registered Nursing degree. He worked at Abbott Northwestern Hospital for 16 years as an Operations Technician. Chad was an Eagle Scout, and held a black belt in Kenpo Karate. He was an avid reader, outdoorsman and he loved to travel. On July 28th Chad was awarded an Honorary Nursing Degree from Century College.
