Survived by wife of 65 years, Jone, and children Charles Howell, Jr. (Karin) Gedge, Karl Rehnberg (Joan) Gedge, Kimberly Walker and Lindsay (Michael) Strand. Grandchildren include George (Nancy) Walker, Carter (Bjorn) Saeteren, Frederick (Sara) Gedge, Charles H. Gedge III, Marilla Sweet Gedge, Mac Montgomery, Andrea (Patrick) Lahouze and Ryan Strand. Great grandchildren include Sissel and Siri Saeteren and Ella Grace Gedge. Memorial service on Sunday, September 14th at 4:30 p.m. at Waverly Gardens of North Oaks, 5919 Centerville Road, North Oaks. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Episcopal Church of St. John in the Wilderness of White Bear Lake, MN.
