Born in Eau Claire, WI on June 21, 1948. Peacefully passed away in his home November 28, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. He courageously fought cancer for over 4 years. Preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Lorraine (nee Schroeder). David is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Janet; daughter, Shawne (Jarrod Stenberg); sons, Christopher (Amy) and Matthew; two grandchildren that were the light of his life, Sam and Kate Stenberg; brothers, Mike (Sandy), Rick (Jane), Pat (Betty); sister, Betsy (Greg); other relatives and friends. David worked for decades in the commercial lighting industry in both the Twin Cities and Sioux Falls, SD. He loved travel and the Green Bay Packers. Service Thursday, December 3, at 10:00 A.M. at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 104 South Snelling Avenue. Visitation Wednesday, December 2, 5:30-8:30 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 678 South Snelling at Eleanor, and also one hour prior to the service at church. The family expresses their appreciation to Fairview Hospice. Memorials are preferred to American Cancer Society.
