66, passed away June 5th, 2013 in Brainerd, MN, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Margaret (Peg) Pierce and three children: Michelle (Brian) Flaherty, Brian (Diana), and Shawn (Stephanie), six grandchildren, his sister Mary Ann Tollefson and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father (Gordon) and mother (Mable). DeWayne was a dedicated family man who loved to hunt, fish, travel around the country in his motor coach, and play with his dogs. Service Wednesday 10AM at Bradshaw, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear (one west of 35E). Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 5-8PM.
