Age 59, of Oakdale, died peacefully from heart complications. Preceded in death by parents, Willis and Gay; and father-in-law, Bob Johnson. Survived by wife of 38 years, Marilyn; children, Mike, Steve (Marnie) and Katie; granddaughter, Addie; sisters, Jeanne (Jim) Blasena, Kathy (Glenn) Fortin and Pat (Bud) Schellenberg; mother-in-law, Helen Johnson; many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Dick lived by his favorite motto: "Life is Good." Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 11:00 A.M. at GUARDIAN ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8260 - 4th Street North, Oakdale. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Hwy 96 (one mile west of 35E), White Bear and also one hour prior to the Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hope for the Journey Home, c/o Guardian Angels Church.
