A celebration of Donald A. Rice?s life will be Wednesday, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Don, age 90, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2008. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Pauline; children, Karen (David) Colwell, Donald (Aretta), Colleen Rice (Michael Murray), and Timothy; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Sundberg and June Satre; many other relatives and friends.
Don was a retired science teacher in the Stillwater Schools, and member of the Stillwater VFW #323. He will be remembered for his passion for teaching and his love of the outdoors. We will miss him ?deer-ly.?
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Stillwater Veteran?s Memorial.
