Age 68, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully April 12, 2010 surrounded by her family. Dorthy loved her family and friends and was always a faithful servant of the Lord. Her beauty, grace and love will never be forgotten. Preceded in death by mother Nellie and father, Charles Doane. Married for 44 years to the love of her life, George. Mother to Leah (John) Stanger, Dina (David) Breckheimer, Maria (Steve) Dumbacher. Grandmother to Jordan, Nick, Jonathan, Mira, Nina and Julia. Survived by sisters, Mary Lou Todora, Nancy Denning, Patsy McDonald; brothers, Charles, Robert and Donald Doane; the Ficocello family and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Dorthy was smart, fun and sassy. She was a hostess extraordinaire, and an expert bargain shopper who made a mean potato salad. She loved her extended family at Spartan, was lovingly cared for by all of the angels at Golden Living Lake Ridge, and was simply the greatest grandmother you've ever seen. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 11:00 A.M. at CHURCH OF SAINT MICHAEL, 611 South Third Street, Stillwater. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater and also one hour prior to the Mass at church.
