Elaine, loving wife and partner of 32 years, age 57, of S. Mpls. Elaine graduated from Dominican Academy High School in Fall River, MA and Bridgewater University, and worked on her MA in French Literature at the University of Minnesota. Elaine was devoted to music eduation for children. She volunteered selflessly with the Minnesota Orchestra Volunteer Association (WAMSO) and the Women's Club of Minneapolis to improve the scope and quality of music education in Minnesota. She had a brave and steadfast heart, was a superb cook and had a great capacity to enjoy the best things in life: a good meal, fine wine and long days on the Mississippi River. Elaine leaves behind her loving husband, Richard; her nephews, nieces, grand nieces and many friends who will miss her caring, and her wonderful laugh. Memorial service Sat, 2 PM, LAKEWOOD CEMETERY CHAPEL, 3600 Hennepin Ave. Visitation A� hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Minnesota Orchestra Volunteer Association for music education.
