Age 84 of Mpls. Born in Veblen, SD on April 25, 1925 and passed away on November 10, 2009. Elvera was a member of the Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux. She had a great sense of humor, was very kind, caring and loving. She loved to read and was very social. Elvera enjoyed life and was proud of her Dakota heritage. She will be deeply missed by her family. Preceded in death by parents, Peter LaBlanc & Grace Wanna-LaBlanc, daughters, Linda & Linda, brother, Wesley, and sisters, Celeste & Germaine. Survived by husband of 63 years, Herman; children, Randy (Sharon), Colleen (George), Lorraine (Richard), Curtis, Kirk, Jean and Joyce; many many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Adeline "Dolly" King and Barbara "Bobby" Robbins, both of Colorado. Service Monday 11 AM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt- Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 4-8 PM and one hour prior to the service.
