Perry, Franklin 98 years old, died May 25, 2014. Born in Minneapolis to Petra and Louis Perry. Army World War II veteran having served in the Aleutian Islands. Life member of VFW Babcock Post #5555. Employee of Franklin Creamery, Model Laundry and G & K Laundry. Deeply passionate about sharing his passion for music, he first joined the Franklin Creamery Chorus and later the Minneapolis Commodores Barbershop Chorus. He sang, entertained and played rhythm instruments with the Southside Singers, who fondly nicknamed him "Mr. Bones." Preceded in death by wife Eloise, parents, and siblings Lucille, Robert and Irene and friend, Carolyn Hartzell. Survived by children Jon, Robert (Carolyn) and Denise and grandchildren Christina (Jordy) Casperson, Jessica (Dan) Herro and Nicholas (Sara) Perry and eight great grandchildren. Franklin especially enjoyed weekly visits from special friend Jack Hartzell and his canine companion. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m. with a gathering of family and friends at Mainstreet Village Chapel, 7601 Lyndale Ave. So. Richfield. Graveside service Tues. at 10:00 a.m. at Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Ave. S. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Southside Singers or Allina Health Hospice. BRADSHAW 612-724-3621
