Memorial service for George C. Rice, age 74, formerly of Stacy, will be Wednesday, July 23, 5:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Highway 96 (one mile west of 35E), White Bear. Family will receive friends following the service.
George was born July 20, 1933 in Saint Paul to Claude and Myra Rice.
He was preceded in death by parents, Claude & Myra; brother-in-law, Ivan Daley; nephew, John Rice; and grand-niece, Hannah Pearson. George was active in the horse community including: participating in the Washington County and Minnesota State Fair Mounted Patrol as well as the St. Paul Winter Carnival. Survived by children, Terri (David) Lehman, Pamela (Brad) Black and Mark Rice; grandchildren, Joshua Lehman and Jennifer (Treken) Christensen; great-grandson, Chase; sister, Barbara Daley; brother, Larry (Dorothy) Rice; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
