Age 82, of Stillwater. Passed away peacefully on February 27, 2015. Gil was born in Tilden, Wisconsin to George and Evelyn Goulet, grew up in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, and married his childhood sweetheart, Marjorie Hart Goulet in 1953. The couple then moved to Stillwater to raise their family after Gil began his business as a Fuller Brush salesman. In 1968, Gil continued his career in sales with industrial lighting. Gil enjoyed his career so much that he never retired. Survived by wife of 61 years, Marjorie; children, Ann (Dave) Mayer, John (Kristine), Peter, Paul (Pam), Joseph; grandchildren, Zack, Nick Mayer, Benny, Abby, Derek Mayer, Connor; sisters, Dolores Hulsman La Mere, Eileen Boos, Gladys Pabst, Donna Becker, Mary La Mere, and Lorene Lee. Gil's positive attitude and sense of humor lit up everyone's life. He sends his love to all. Memorial service Sunday, March 8 at 12:00PM at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater. Private interment Fairview Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
