Gloria Pryor

Gloria J. Pryor " Jean" of Richfield, Minnesota passed away suddenly due to complications with asthma at the age of 75 November 27, 2016. Preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Bannarn and Margaret Doyle Bannarn James; Sister, Shirley Tanksley; brother, Phillip Bannarn; Great-granddaughter, Pillar Pryor. She grew up in St. Paul, Mn and attended Mechanic Arts High School. Gloria had a passion for Cosmetology and attended Aveda Institute. She graduated as a certified beautician and loved doing hair. She was also a licensed massage therapist. Affectionately called "Glo" by friends and co-workers. She loved meeting people, traveling and going to church with her friends. She was beautiful inside and out, she had a big heart and would give her last to help her family and friends. She was very proud of her ethnic heritage and loved genealogy. Gloria leaves to cherish her memories, five children: Melvin Weston, Tony Weston, Denise Muhammad (Charles), Lisa Pryor Jacobs, Carla Pryor Taylor. Grandchildren; Anthony, Trent, Clarissa, Chad, Mikhail, Vincent, Amber, Timothy, Ashley, Ahnika, Brenden, Aiesha, Charles and Briana; 14 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Richard James, John James, Michael Bannarn and Mark Bannarn; Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many friends. Funeral service Monday, December 12 at 12 Noon at NEW SALEM MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 2507 Bryant Ave. N., Minneapolis. Visitation one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
