Eskierka, (nee Genger) Hedwig M. "Hedy" Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, age 84, of Minneapolis, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Preceded in death by parents, Alois and Martha Genger; husband, Mike; brothers, Georg and Ervin. Survived by sister, Elizabeth Kuhny of Heidelberg, Germany; sons, Malcolm "Mike" (Sue) of Stillwater, Glen (Cathy) of North Augusta, SC, Ronnie (Betsy) of Lakeville; daughter, Rita Curtis (Scott Archibald) of St. Paul; grandchildren, Ryan, Adam, Brad, Rhea, Brittany, Ashley, Haley, Emily and Jennifer; great-grandchild, Isabella; nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, 10:00 A.M. at CHURCH OF ST. HELENA, 3201 East 43rd Street. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Monday (TODAY), 4:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South, and also one hour prior to the Mass at church.
