Lifelong resident of South Mpls. Born April 3, 1919 and passed away on August 26, 2006. Preceded in death by parents, William & Margaret Chisholm, husband, William Gatton Sr., sisters, Catherine & Margaret, and brother, William. Survived by son, William; sister, Irene Harrigan and many loving nieces & nephews. Helen was active in her church and political & community affairs. She was the past chairwoman of the 5th District Republican Party and past president of the Phillips Neighborhood Improvement Association where she was a recipient of the Phillips Neighborhood Good Neighbor Award. She was a member of the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women and a retired employee of Hennepin County. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10AM at HOLY ROSARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2424 18th Ave. So. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 5-9PM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So. and one hour prior to Mass at church.
