Age 87, of Mpls. Preceded in death by wife, Joyce; mother, Mildred Waterman; and sister, Fern Zeleznikar. Survived by daughter, Cheryl (Wayne) Moberg; son, Craig (Linda) Wilson; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Howard was a WWII veteran. Member of the Viking Chapter of the Merchant Marine. He served from 1942-1945 on three different ships: SS William Moltrie, SS John A. Donald and SS Richard Bassett. 60 year member of Cement Masons Local #633. Memorial service Friday 12:30PM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge) 3131 Minnehaha Avenue So. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Gathering of family and friends Thursday 4-8PM. Memorials preferred to Historic Ft. Snelling Memorial Chapel.
