James Kallas

Kallas, James (Jim) Devoted Husband, Father, Papa, Son, Brother, Friend. Age 60, of Luck, WI, formerly of Cottage Grove, MN. Died suddenly of heart failure on April 29, 2008. Passed away peacefully at home, in his sleep. Preceded in death by his father, James, and father-in-law, Emmett Jewell. Survived by his wife of 37 years, Shannon; sons, Jason (Sara), Savage, MN; Nik (Melissa), Woodbury, MN; daughter, Courtney (Jeremy) Kurkowski, Somerset, WI; his adored grandchildren, Bryan and Morgan; mother, Helen; siblings Bill, Barb, Tom & Nancy Knops. He leaves behind a vast number of extended family & friends. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He used his G.I. bill to further his education and became an accountant. He owned his own successful business for 27 years. He will be sorely missed. A Time of Sharing Service will be held 10:30AM Monday at BRADSHAW FUNERAL HOME, 678 Snelling Ave S. at Eleanor.
