Father of Pamela and husband James Kranz, James Jr. and wife Susan, Donald (deceased), and Richard and wife Kathleen. Grandfather of Richard (Debra) Kranz, Linda (Rusty) Kocon, Mark (Angela) Kranz, Paul, Jennifer, Michael (Chelsea), Jeffrey (Amanda), Jeanne, Christopher, Joseph, and Thomas. Great grandfather Joe, Jim, Jacob, Josh, Jon, Emily, Jack, Sam, Will, Audrey, Cassie, and Annika. Brother of Jean Ann (Peter) Sonnek, Marlene Staloch, and special friend Mickey Olufson. Preceded by his beloved wife and co-pilot Cecil Ilo, son Donald, and sister Mary Eileen. Jim was a WWII pilot in China, Burma, and India. He was a lifelong educator, farmer and a pilot. Advisory Board Member for St. Paul Technical College. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Monday, January 28th, CHURCH OF SAINT MICHAEL, 611 South 3rd Street, Stillwater. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 3 to 7 PM Sunday at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co. Rd. 5), Stillwater, and 1 hour before Mass at Church. Memorials preferred to the James E. Staloch, Sr. Vocational Education Scholarship Fund.
