Jean Dando

Dando, Jean Barbara (Wilson), age 88, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend, died peacefully at her daughter Kathryn"s home in Apple Valley on Tuesday, August 12th. She was born in Rush City, Minnesota, April 4th, 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eion E. Dando and two brothers, Roberts and Stephen Wilson. She is survived by her four children, James (Brenda) of Minot, North Dakota, Patricia (Robert) Haaheim of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Stephan (Lori) of US Diplomatic Service, and Kathryn (Mark) Turgeon of Apple Valley, Minnesota; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Zachary, Eion, Elliot, Laura, Lisa, and Lindsay; three great grandchildren, Eion, Averie, and Piper; as well as one brother, Donald Wilson of Bayport, Minnesota. Jean was devoted to God and dedicated her life to her family and to her church. She was loved by friends and enjoyed music and playing games, especially bridge and spite & malice. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and "greats". A memorial service will be held at SouthCross Community Church, 1800 E. Cty. Rd. 42 Burnsville, Minnesota on Monday, August 18th at 11:30 am. She had a giving spirit and the family asks that memorials be given to SouthCross Community Church or the Mission of your choice in her honor.
