Hiben, John age 85 of Mpls passed peacefully May 17, 2005. Preceded in death by son, Micheal, parents, brothers, Micheal and Daniel, sister, Gladys. Survived by wife of 63 years, Lorraine; sons David (Bonnie Hiben) and James (wife, Christine); daughter, Michelle (husband, Finley Moore); grandchildren, David Jr., Jeffrey, Alicia and Shawn; great-grandsons, Joshua & Jordan. Served in both WWII and the Korean War. Life member of the VFW Post 1296 & DAV. Retired after 30 years from the Mpls. School Board. Service Monday 11:00AM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So.. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday (TODAY) 4-7PM and one hour prior to service.
