Josephine Louise Ripka Kromer (nee Skok)
12/1/1911 ? 12/3/2007. Born in New Prague, MN. Moved to St. Paul in 1959 after residing many years in Claremont, MN. Preceded in death by husbands, Eddie Ripka and Theodore "Ted" Kromer; three sons; one sister and one brother; and special friend, Gordy Kinning. Josie was well loved by family, friends and all that had the benefit of knowing her kind and generous nature. In her later years she especially enjoyed the companionship of her Blue Bells and Bingo friends at Maplewood Good Samaritan Center. She is survived by son, Eugene "Gene" Ripka and daughter-in-law, Jerry Langley-Ripka of White Bear Lake; and daughter, Betty (Daryl) Haskin of Hayfield; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 8, 2007 at BRADSHAW FUNERAL HOME, 1174 Payne Ave, St. Paul. Interment held at a later date, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday one hour prior to the services at Bradshaw. Memorials preferred.
