Judith Berger Beals Lewis was born on August 13, 1939, at Granite Falls, MN, to Harold & Carol Berger. She grew up at Renville, MN. She earned a BA at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. She taught art in the Princeton, MN public schools. In 1981 she married Pastor Al Lewis & they made their home at Renville, Montevideo, & retirement at Marine on St. Croix, MN. She died of multiple myeloma. Judy is survived by her husband, Al; mother, Carol Berger; 3 daughters, Sydney Kelley of St. Cloud; Stacey (Michael) Danculovich of Minneapolis; Shelley (Kris) Budke, of Amery, WI; 8 grandchildren, Will of West Point, NY, Simon (Christina) and Amos of St. Cloud, MN, Lily of Eau Claire, WI, Eli of Duluth, MN, Dasha of Minneapolis, MN, and Margaret & Henry of Amery, WI; sister, Bonny (Bill) Sherratt of Colon, MI; niece, Myrth (Tom) Condon of Munesing, MI; as well as numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Berger of Renville. Funeral service will be held Tuesday 1:00 PM at CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 150 5th Street, Marine on St. Croix. Visitation 1 hour prior at the church. Funeral service also Wednesday 1:00 PM at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3rd St and Dogwood Ave., Renville, MN. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at the church. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Renville.
