Born January 27, 1967 Julie took Jesus? hand on March 21, 2007 surrounded by family and friends. Julie?s passion for food led her to a career as chef at some of Seattle?s finest restaurants. The precious daughter of Eugene and Ruth Hawkinson of Stillwater, she is survived by sister Heidi (Craig) Koehnen of Stillwater, brother Kris (Joan) of Hubert, North Carolina, nieces and nephews Liesl, Harrison, Brita Koehnen and Joshua Hopfer, loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Preceded in death by grandparents Oscar and Sigrid Lindstrom, Leonard and Leona Hawkinson, cousins David Kane and Susan (nee Kane) Bies. A special thank you to the infusion nurses at Masonic Cancer Center, doctors and nurses at U of M Fairview and January, Norma, Kathy and January of Lakeview Hospice. Celebration of Life service 11am, Tuesday, March 27th at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH Stillwater, with a visitation one hour prior to service at church.
