Age 92 of Saint Paul
Born 8-3-1914 to Richard & Nellie Guslander of Marine on St. Croix, MN. where she attended school and church. She graduated at the age of 16 from Stillwater High School where she was on the Honor Role. She graduated from Bethesda Nursing School in 1940 and worked for 20 years at Behtesda Hospital as a Head Nurse on the Surgical Floor. She Married Alfred Mohr in 1951. Helped organize "Volksfest Association" and charter flights to Europe. She conducted 8 Caribbean Cruises. She was active in the Bethesda Nurses Alumni, Goodwill Volunteers, Past President and Volunteer of the Year of the Schubert Club, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, and many other organizations. Preceded in death by husband, Alfred; parents, and brother and a sister. She is survived by niece, Wynness (Dave) Holmberg; great-nieces Casi (Rick) Wenner and their family, Theresa (Jude) Croyle and their family; several cousins and many friends. Service Thursday, 11:00 am at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 700 South Snelling Avenue, St. Paul. Interment Oakland Cemetery, Marine on St. Croix. Visitation Wednesday, 4-7 pm at Bradshaw, 678 South Snelling at Eleanor and also one hour prior to the service at church.
