Preceded in death by father, John Pilla; mother, Josephine Pilla; and sister, Maria PIlla. Survived by brother, Anthony D. Pilla who she was like a mother to him; cousins, Antonio & Bonnie Pilla, Dan & Carla Pilla, William & Jean Pilla, Anthony & Mary Jane Yekaldo; and other cousins, friends and the families of Mr. James Morelli & Mr. Louis Morelli. Lucy was hired at Morelli Store, 535 Collins St. by Mr. Tony Morelli (Godfather)in the year 1948 and worked as a cashier for a total of 56 years. She enjoyed the companionship and conversations with the various co-workers, neighbors and customers throughout the years and the gifts received from them. Lucy enjoyed the religious aspects of Christmas with exterior lights and interior Christmas displays with the traditional Italian foods for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day; and Easter with interior spring displays and with Ukranian Easter Egg displays for Holy Week and traditional Italian foods for Easter. Lucy enjoyed attending Metro Area Festivals/Events, Minnesota State Fair and Como Park of St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10AM at CHURCH OF ST. MARY'S, 261 E. 8th St. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church.
