Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother,
Great-grandmother ? Age 74
On July 27th, surrounded by her family, Marilyn went to be with her Lord after living life to the fullest, overcoming the challenges of an 11 year battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jack; three sons, Bob (Deb) of Woodbury, Bill (Maggie) of Chicago, IL and Jim (Liz) of St. Paul; six grandchildren, Madelyn, John (Rachel), Mark, Michelle, Jason and Laura; and 2 great-grandchildren, Ellie and Vayda; sisters, Janet Schultz of Roseville and Jane Backer (Gil) of Shoreview; and many other extended family members and friends. Many thanks to Dr. Bill and Dr. Hartung and also to the 2nd floor nursing staff at Woodwinds Hospital. Your care and compassion shown to Marilyn and to all our family was greatly appreciated. A service celebrating Marilyn?s life will be Wednesday, 4:00 P.M. at WOODBURY COMMUNITY CHURCH, 2975 Pioneer Drive, Woodbury. Interment will be at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery on Madeline Island, WI. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, 5:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW Corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Memorials are preferred to Woodbury Community Church.
