Formerly employed by North Oaks and Mendakota Country Clubs. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 9. Preceded in death by husband, Loren and brother, Kenneth Nelson. Survived by children, Ron, Robert, Garry (Dianna), Ken, Sharon (Gene) Eddy, Dan (Amanda), Suzanne Stamness and Mary Jo (Steve Carlson) Stamness; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Leone) Nelson; sister-in-law, Doris Ellen Nelson and by many relatives and friends. Service Tuesday 10 a.m at CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 11194-36th Street North, Lake Elmo. Private interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday 1 hour prior to the service, all at the church. Memorials preferred to the church kitchen fund.
