Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma,
Great Grandma and Friend - Age 89
Quietly passed into the presence of her Lord on December 27, 2012 after a short illness with
cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Lydia & Birger Hallen and sister, Marilyn Trost. Survived
by husband of 68 years, Gordon; children, Patty (John) Sailhamer, Judy Nowlin and Steve
(Linda); grandchildren, Jonathan (Mandy) Nowlin, David Sailhamer, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Jason)
Soukup, John (Kelly) Sailhamer, Peter (Angela) Sailhamer, Amy (Tim) Cryer, David Engdahl
and Emily Engdahl; 9 great grandchildren. Phyllis' reflection of the Jesus she loved left a legacy
of light, truth, and love. She made a significant difference in the lives of those she touched, and
no one left her presence unchanged.

CHURCH, 2696 Hazelwood Street, Maplewood. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
