Went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 19 as a result of a 2 year battle with brain cancer. He was deeply loved and will be missed by his wife and best friend, Judy; cherished daughters, Mandy and Tiffany; mother Aneta (Ron); siblings, Gary (Judy), Tom (Sandy), Deb Hollman (Arnie), and Mike (Brenda); mother-in-law, Adele Nelson; brother-in-law, Doug Nelson, many other family and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Milford; brother, Mark and father-in-law, Dean Nelson. Rick established Kline Design and Landscaping in 1994 after working in the landscaping business for many years. He beautified many outdoor spaces and served hundreds of loyal clients with his creativity, honesty and quality work. He was a mentor to all of his employees and many other young men. The loves of his life were God, his wife and daughters, his church family, landscaping, the outdoors, fishing and playing his guitar. A man of integrity, Rick always put others first by being kind and genuine to each person he met and compassionate by helping others in need. He loved life, was positive, strong, wise, funny, and always had a twinkle in his eye. He was respected and loved by all who knew him. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, April 23, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Hwy 96 (one mile west of 35E), White Bear. A memorial service to celebrate Rick's life will be Sunday, April 25, 4:00 P.M. (nursery & toddler care provided) at FIRST COVENANT CHURCH, 1280 Arcade Street, St. Paul. Private family burial. Memorials are preferred to First Covenant Church or Covenant Pines Bible Camp to benefit youth.
