Went to be with his Lord unexpectedly but peacefully at home August 13, 2011. Survivors include his wife, Lucy; sons, Robert A. (Daniele), Ryan (Deven); daughters, Dana and Darcy; grandchildren, Garrison, Jeremy, Dominic, Gemini, Aidan, Christian, Jaden, Dakoda and Jakobe; brother, Steve (Ann) Golish; sisters, Katherine (John) Timm, Mary (David) Mueller, Betty Lou (Mark) Thorson, Deanna (Keith) Ellinghuysen and Jeanine (David) Maschka; many nieces, nephews and friends. Robert was a Vietnam Vet and a lifetime member of the VFW. Robert worked over 25 years at Xcel Energy and was currently a part time employee in the Garden Center at Lowe's. Robert's hobbies included fishing, hunting and carpentry. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family. A Celebration of Robert's Life will be 11 AM Thursday, August 18 at SALEM LUTHERAN CHURCH, 14940 62nd Street North, Stillwater. Visitation 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, August 17 at SALEM LUTHERAN CHURCH and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment 10:15 AM Friday, August 19, Assembly Area 4 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
