Age 21, on December 12, 2018. Sarah will forever be known for her smile that seemed to light up the world, and the world is a darker place without her. She was a talented drummer, well known in the Blues community in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota and in Redding, California. She was studying psychology in Rotterdam, Netherlands, hoping to help those in need. Sarah is survived by her mother, Donee (Allen) Odegard; father, Jerry (Trina) Papenheim; the love of her life, Nico Karsemeijer; grandparents, Molly Papenheim and Tom (Ann) Kresko; aunts and uncles, Lana, Steve, Tom, Justin, Cindy, John, and Sue; many other family and friends. Sarah was preceded in death by her brother, Josh Papenheim; aunt, Julie Torres; and grandfather, Donald Papenheim.

A lighthearted ceremony and sharing of remembrances will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Highway 96, White Bear with visitation from 2:00 -5:00 P.M.

An additional Celebration of Sarah Papenheim will take place at the Cabooze, 917 Cedar Avenue South, Minneapolis on Sunday, January 6, 2019, from 4:00-10:00 P.M. All are invited.
