Wariakois, Theodore "Ted"
Of Franconia, died December 20, 2014. Ted joins his beloved wife of 58 years, Shirley. Ted is survived by his children, Steven (Brenda), Karen, Linda (Forrest); grandchildren, Eric, Sheri, Kelly; and great-grandchild, Jeremiah. Ted was born in 1934 at the family home in Northeast Minneapolis to George and Mary (nee Zandaroski) Wariakois. He was the youngest of four children, Robert, Richard, and George. Ted served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Ted worked 40 years at Honeywell. He married Shirley Larson in 1958 in Minneapolis. They moved to White Bear Lake and then they built a home in Marine on St. Croix where they lived for over 40 years. From there, they retired to Franconia. Ted was an avid collector. He was a vennelag member of the Sons of Norway, and a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Marine on St. Croix, the Scandia-Marine Lion's Club, Norske Torske, the Meister's Coffee Clutch, and the Western Lake Superior Trolling Association. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00AM with visitation one hour prior and a luncheon to follow all at CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 150 Fifth St, Marine on St. Croix. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
