Vivian Marie (Edlund) Wilson of Minneapolis, MN was born on February 22, 1920. She passed away on February 28, 2010 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Elize (Caron) Edlund; brothers, Russell and Marvin Edlund; and by her sister, Elaine (Edlund) Reyes. She is survived by her son, Ronald (Valorie) Wilson; daughter, Gloria (Bradford) Croissant; granddaughter, Kelli Wilson; grandsons, Mark Wilson and Jeff (Leah) Wilson; a special niece, Nancy (Gary) Leegard; sisters-in-law, Betty Edlund and Ellie Drabek; additional nieces and nephews; special family friend, Ken Cheever; other familymembers and by many friends from her congregation. She was a devoted mother who used her time and energy to raise her children with the values she respected. She worked downtown at Dayton's in General Accounting and retired from there after 20 + years. She had a friendly nature and was known for her quick smiles and laughter. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, cooking, baking and working in her flower garden. During her later years, she admirably faced and coped with multiple health issues. In spite of these circumstances, she "counted her blessings daily". Vivian was well known for her Christian qualities and she regularly shared her hope about God's Kingdom and its future blessings with others. She now rests in the secure memory of our heavenly Father, Jehovah God- awaiting the fulfillment of the resurrection hope to a Paradise here on earth. A Memorial Service will be held 2PM Saturday, March 6, 2010 with a Visitation on Friday from 4PM to 8PM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S., Minneapolis. We ask that these gatherings be scent- free. Private Family Interment at Hillside Cemetery.
