Albert C. Beaudet
Al Beaudet died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Aug 1, 2015. Born in St. Paul he graduated from Stillwater High School and attended the University of St. Thomas. Al served his country as the photographer with the Navy News on Guam during WW II. As a young man he worked with his father in the family business, and continued to own and operate Beaudet Memorials for six decades.
A game of Hearts or a road trip were some of Al's favorite things, along with spending time with family. Al also loved mischief and pranks, and those who knew him enjoyed his kindness and sharp wit.
He was preceded in death by his parents J. Ernest and Libbie M. Beaudet (Brouillet), his sister Bonnie Albertson and his brother Joseph. Survived by his wife of 64 years Jean Beaudet, his children David (Debbie), Ernie (Tina) and Nancy Beaudet (Dan Jacoby), his grandchildren Katie and Libbie Beaudet, Michelle Beaudet (Ben Drout), and Cori Jacoby, and his great grandson Noah Drout.
The family thanks the caring staff at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Stillwater and Lakeview Hospital Hospice. In memory of Al the family suggests a donation to the St. Michael's Church Steeple Repair Project in Stillwater.
Funeral Service at the Celebration of Life Center in Stillwater on Saturday August 8, 2015 at 11 AM, with visitation at 10. Lunch follows the service.
