Alice "Berene" Campbell Beske

On Friday, July 31, her mother's 122nd birthday, Berene conquered her awful cancer by passing into heaven to join her Mom (Ethel Campbell), husbands Bob Beske and Wayne Sampson, son (Brad Beske), sister (Lucille Morgenstern), brother (Earl Campbell), and many other family members and good friends. Surrounded by her four surviving children, Scott Beske, Sandy (Lenny) Snellman, Barb (Bill) Degner, and Sally (Terry) Chial, she passed peacefully into glory. From her childhood growing up in Hector, MN, to raising her family and helping run pharmacies in Springfield, White Bear Lake, Lake Elmo, and Bayport, to creating amazing works of art as quilts and wall hangings, all the while being a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, GG, aunt, and friend, Berene touched innumerable lives with her loving, giving ways. In addition to her children, she is survived by grandchildren: Brian (Beth) Beske, Cadie (Paul) Albers, Bill (Kate) Snellman, Rob (Keri) Beske, Molly (Ben) Williams, Chad (Sarah) Chial, Kim Degner, Alissa (Joe) Staloch, Amanda (Henry) Kostalik, Scott Degner, Jenna Degner, and Jessi Beske; great grandchildren: Eva and Sam Snellman, Ella and Eme Beske, Oliver Williams, and Sylvia Staloch; step son, Mark (Diana) Sampson, step daughter, Carolyn (Kathy) Sampson, other extended family members, and innumerable friends. Special thanks to Dr. Martha Sanford for her years of wonderful care, Dr's Hurley, Kumar, and Bransford for guiding us through the battle with cancer, and the staff of Lakeview Hospice. A visitation will be held at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater on Thursday, August 6 from 5 till 8 p.m. and a service to celebrate Mom's life at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 490 N 4th St, Bayport on Friday, August 7 at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Bethlehem Lutheran or Lakeview Hospice.
