Allan Eugene Lutcavish

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, cousin, and uncle passed away on Dec. 19, 2025 at Catholic Eldercare in Minneapolis at the age of 77. Born July 25, 1948 in Mason City, Iowa to Albert T. and Alice Haukness Lutcavish. Moved to Merrillan/Alma Center/Fairchild, Wisconsin area as an infant. Married Arretta Williams of Pittsfield, Illinois on July 31, 1971. Survived by his wife of 54 years, two sons - Brian (Jennifer) of South St. Paul and Mark (Sarah) of East Bethel. Five Grandchildren - Tomas Lutcavish, Kailey (Jesus) Ruiz (both in Denver, Colorado area), Natasha Lutcavish of Apple Valley, Ophelia and Josephine Lutcavish of East Bethel. Also, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jerry, Larry and infant brother. Mr. Lutcavish graduated from Lincoln High School in Alma Center, Wisconsin before moving to MInneapolis to attend North Central University (N.C.B.C.) where he met his wife, and graduated in 1972. He was employed by Sears in the catalog department warehouse from 1968 until it's closure. He then attended Lakeland Medical-Dental Academy to become a laboratory technician and graduated in 1992. He was employed by Park Nicollet and worked at their various clinics until retirement in 2010. Al enjoyed camping and fishing with his family, teaching the sons basic car mechanics and basic home remodeling, model trains, photography, wood working and building furniture, hiking down into the Grand Canyon and up the Great Wall of China. He took many trips and cruises with his wife to several foreign countries and most states. He also was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan. Services will be held Saturday January 17, 2026 at Bradshaw Funeral Home at 3131 Minnehaha Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55406. Celebration of Life is at 1pm with a 1-hour visitation prior.
