Amy Marie Halverson

Amy Halverson, 74, passed unexpectedly after a brief illness on June 1st, 2025. She will be

deeply missed by those who survive her: children Christopher (Terri Jo) Halverson and Jennifer

(Dan) Drotts; grandchildren Autumn (Frank) Villeneuve, Josephine, and Sean; siblings Susan

Femeyer, Larry Scales, Cathy Scales, Galen Scales, Jan (Charlie) Johnson, and many nieces and

nephews. Amy is preceded in death by husband, Thomas Halverson, parents, Elliot and Olive

Scales, and brother Allan Scales.

Amy was born on April, 9th, 1951 in Minneapolis and graduated from Fridley High School in

1969. She earned her nursing degree and worked in a variety of healthcare settings throughout

her life. Amy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be especially missed by

her grandchildren who loved her encouragement and gentle guidance.
