Ann Marie Petersen

Ann Marie Petersen, 83, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, passed away on September 30, 2025. 

Ann was born on December 4, 1941, in Pine Island, Minnesota, the daughter of William and Gladys Skogman. She was a devoted mother who was always there for her children. She had a love like no other for her children and grandchild.

Ann enjoyed fishing while growing up and also during retirement when she lived near Longville, Minnesota. She was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting and quilting. She tried to make sure most of her family received an afghan or quilt.

Ann was a huge fan of all Minnesota sporting teams, both professional and college. She enjoyed playing games and cards, as well as working her wordsearch and jigsaw puzzles.

Ann is survived by her beloved children, Tod and Paul Petersen, Kari Prafke (Scott) and her granddaughter Brooke Larson. She is also survived by her brothers Dale Skogman, Tony Skogman and his children, Bob Skogman (Diane) and their children and sister June Vavreck and her children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Gladys Skogman, her sisters Phyllis Martin, Rochelle Bergsten and Linda Skogman and brothers Bill Skogman and Cliff Skogman.

A service will be held at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Minneapolis on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Minnehaha location. A visitation will be held at 12:00 pm with the service starting at 1:00. Following the service, Ann will be laid to rest at the Wangen Prairie Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls, Minnesota near her dear family.
