Antonio Yancey

Born November 12, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois to proud parents, Roy Malone and Shirley Ann Henderson,
Tony spent his early years in Chicago. He attended Doolittle West Elementary and graduated from
Wendall Philip High School, before moving to Minneapolis with family.
Besides working, Tony loved being around family, playing the piano, and a good card game.
He departed his life unexpectedly on March 8, 2023. One thing Tony would always say after a
conversation, "I love you 'til the world blow up!"
Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents Doris Varner (Robert), mother, Shirley Ann Henderson,
father Roy Malone, and youngest brother, Jerry (PhatBoy) Calhoun. He leaves behind to cherish his
memory and mourn his passing, daughter Ke'Yeal Yancey, girlfriend of 8 years Pamela Owens, wife
(married but separated) and friend Brenda Yancey, sisters Sonya Yancey (Chris), Octavia Calhoun,
brother William Henderson Jr.; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
