Archie Bonnett

Archie Thomas Bonnett, 96, died peacefully at Trinity Care Center in Farmington, Minnesota, on Monday, April 3, 2023.

Preceded in death by wife, MaryAnn; son, Jeff; parents, Walter and Mary (nee McHugo) Bonnett; siblings, Walter (Mary) Bonnett, Dorothy (Walt) Christensen, Eugene (Dorothy) Bonnett, Lorraine (Lester) Corbin, and Mary (George) Belter.

Survived by daughter, Jody (Chad) Etzler; son-in-law, William Best; grandchildren, Quinlyn (Tyler) Kline and Tieg (Lauren) Waulters; great-grandchildren, Archie and Frankie Waulters;
sibling, Jerome (Mary) Bonnett, and many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, on Tuesday, April 11, at St. Helena Catholic Church (Minneapolis). Visitation one hour prior. Donuts and coffee to follow service. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Memorial gifts preferred to Trinity Care Center, Farmington.

A reflection:

You would know the secret of death.
But how shall you find it unless you seek it in the heart of life?

For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.
