Lifelong resident of St. Paul. Preceded in death by husband, Wesley; sons, Stephen and Jerome; brother, Russell Swanson. Survived by daughter, Cynthia Vars-Shaffer (Barry Shaffer); grandchildren, Kris, Kristen Victoria, Deborah, Keith, Jennifer and Jessica; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Norman Swanson; sisters, Arline Vars and Lorayne Swanson; nieces and nephews. Former employee of Powers Department Store, lifelong member at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, volunteer, avid gardner, fabulous cook and world traveler. Service Friday 1:00PM at BRADSHAW, 678 South Snelling at Eleanor. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials to donor?s choice.
