Passed away peacefully on July 21, 2022. She will be dearly missed by those who survive her: her children, Christine Brown, David (Nancy) Dennis, Candace Alewine, Jeffrey (Lori) Johnson, Wendy (Gary) Miller; grandchildren, Judy (Andy) Dembraski, Aaron (Becca) Dennis, Jakki (Ryan) Tauer, Kristy Witter, Martin (Jennie) Bowers, Hanna Johnson, Allen (Chelsea) Johnson, Megan Miller, Lauren Miller, Madison Miller; great-grandchildren, Russel, Leah, Alexis, Mariah, Micah, Colton, Annabeth, Ethan, Chloe; seven nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Arthur Farstad; son, Kevin Johnson; husband, Robert Johnson. Ardis had a great sense of humor and was independent, and she loved to play cards, especially bridge. She spent her career as a receptionist with the State of Minnesota. She and Robert were very involved in the Big Dads, a group focused on raising money to assist local kids living with Cerebral Palsy. Memorial service will be 11am Thursday, July 28 at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Hazelwood Cemetery, Bayport. Memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
