Arthur Warmbold

Warmbold, Arthur C.

Died August 17, 2015. He was born Nov. 9, 1929 in Minneapolis to Arthur C. Warmbold, Sr. and Angelina Warmbold, nee Klatt. Preceded in death by parents; half-brother, James Miller and half-sister, Rachel. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and served in the U.S Army. When he returned to civilian life he worked for the U.S Postal service as a mail carrier until his retirement. His kindness and assistance to the patrons on his route were remembered long after that retirement. His passion was for the collection of antique art glass and he assembled cabinets full of beautiful examples. Except for his time in the Army, he lived in the house he came home to as an infant, until failing health forced him to a care center in 2012. Arthur's Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Friday August 21 at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Ave., Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour before the service. He will be interred at Sunset Memorial Park.
