Barbara Helen Hoffbeck

Barbara Helen Hoffbeck, a lifelong Stillwater resident, affectionately known to her family as Bobbi, died peacefully on November 5th at age 83, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Stillwater, Minnesota, on October 27, 1943. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Gayle; stepfather, Carl Lund; sister, Sandra; daughter, Julie; and great-granddaughter, Millie Bonn. 

She is survived by her husband, Keith; his brothers, Craig and Rick; her siblings, Maureen (Richard), Jon (Deb), Mary Jo (Grant), Angela (Bill), Lori (David); her son, Gary (Michele); daughter, Susan (Chris); as well as grandchildren, Kyle, Jake, Abby, Taylor, Garrison and Jackson, and five great-grandchildren.

She courageously faced a lifetime of health-related adversity with a spirit that serves as a source of strength and inspiration for those who knew her best. Barbara spent her entire career also helping others as a nurse at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater. In addition to serving her family and community through her nursing career, she helped beautify the world with the incredible gardens she grew wherever she lived. She will be deeply missed by family and friends, and all the people whose lives she touched over her lifetime. 

Memorial donations can be made in Barbara's name to Lakeview Hospice.
A private service will be held for the family.
