Bernadine had a special love for quilting, a hobby that brought her great joy throughout her life. She was a proud member of several quilting organizations. Her creativity, dedication, and love of quilting brought her many wonderful friendships and countless hours of happiness.
Bernadine and James also shared a passion for Model T automobiles and were longtime members of multiple Model T Clubs. They enjoyed attending Model T events and traveling to steam engine shows throughout Minnesota. One of their favorite traditions was attending the show at Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion (Rollag MN), where Bernadine was always happy to lend a helping hand. She often prepared meals, assisted wherever she was needed, and enjoyed the fellowship and camaraderie of the many people they met there. These gatherings became a special part of the life she and James shared, filled with hard work, good food, friendship, and memories.
Above all else, Bernadine cherished her family, especially her two grandchildren. She adored Courtney and Eliana and treasured every moment she spent with them, sharing her wisdom, teaching them life's lessons, and creating memories they will carry with them always.

Although it was a difficult journey, she continued to share her beautiful smile and loving spirit throughout the long road. Her family was blessed to be by her side during her final weeks, holding her hand, praying with her, and surrounding her with love as she peacefully went home to Our Lord.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated care team at Visiting Angels Senior Home Care who lovingly cared for Bernadine during the last years of her life. Their compassion, kindness, and devotion were a true blessing to Bernadine and her entire family.
