On July 31, 2008. Preceded in death by wire, Shirley and son Dennis. Survived by sister, Molly and daughter-in-law, Sandy; children, Maureen, Bernard Jr., William (Kathy) and Vern; grandchilren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and beloved partner, Martha Thorson and her family. Service was August 4, 2008 and burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
