Preceded in death by her loving husband, Monroe, of 68 years; Father and Mother, Walter and Mabel Anderson.
Survived by sister, Janet Shields; also survived by her four children, Michael (Nancy) Kronstedt, Nancy (Dennis) Regole, Jon (Beverly) Kronstedt, and Karen (Gary) Hamilton; Grandchildren, James Lenthe, Kelly Lenthe, Brandon Kronstedt, Gunnar Hamilton, Gretchen Hamilton, Kevin Kronstedt, and Brian Kronstedt; Great Grandchildren, Spencer Lenthe, Kaleigh Lenthe, Bennett Kronstedt, Claire Kronstedt, Hunter Hamilton, August Kronstedt, Bode Kronstedt, Svea Kronstedt and Elise Kronstedt.
Bessie was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. In 9th Grade she met and fell in love with Monroe. They were happily married for 68 years. She was Homecoming Queen with Mr. Football Monroe at Murray High School. Later, she and Monroe traveled the world. Her favorite trips were to Africa. Bessie had a million friends. She lived life to the fullest and loved to entertain. The parties were always at Bessie's. Bessie and Monroe lived on Lake Johanna for 65 years. Bessie was very active in society, Cub Scout Leader, League of Women Voters, Children's Hospital Guild and many other organizations. Bessie and Monroe always put family first. The entire family learned from their example and all remain very close today. Bessie and Monroe enjoyed winters for 25 years in Naples, Florida, after Monroe's retirement.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00pm on Tuesday February 7th, at: Johanna Shores Presbyterian Home at 3200 Lake Johanna Blvd, Arden Hills, MN
Memorials preferred to Shriner's Children's Hospital or Presbyterian Homes.
