Betty Anderson

Betty J. (Hilmanowske) Anderson, age 93 of Bayport, joined her husband, Kenneth, in heaven on January 25, 2017, their 72nd wedding anniversary. Betty was a nurturer and caregiver, showing her love through her actions. She enjoyed golfing with Ken, and made his care her primary focus in her later years. She was preceded in death by Kenneth on December 10, 2016; parents, John and Josie; daughter, Lola; grandson, Derek Anderson; brothers, Leroy and Ralph. She is survived by her children, Linda (Jerry) Pagel, Steve (Maija) Anderson; grandchildren, Matthew (Victoria) Pagel, Justin Pagel, Zachary (Svitlana) Pagel, Karl (Molly) Pagel, Bradley Anderson; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Joanne (Clyde) Jacobson, Gene (Donna) Hilmanowske. A memorial service celebrating both Betty and Kenneth will be at 11AM Wednesday, February 1 at BETHLEHEM LUTHERAN CHURCH, 490 4th St N, Bayport, with visitation one hour prior. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association preferred.
